Inkheart Review

Hey guys!

So as you all know, I finally finished Inkheart!!! Yay! :D Here's my review for it:

The story was very interesting.
Meggie is a strong, smart, sweet, brave, and interesting character. She is very strong for her age and species. She is a dreamer. She finds out that she has the wonderful and awful talent that her father, Mo, has. She can read characters out of books. Fenoglio and Meggie find out how to read characters back into their stories, which is something her father has been trying to find out for a long time now. The first character she reads out of a book was Tinkerbell.
Mo (Mortimer) is mature, bold, and loving. Capricorn & his men, and Dustfinger call him, Silvertongue. He is the father of Meggie. Yes, he was the one who had read Capricorn, Basta, and Dustfinger out of their book. Even so he has been trying to find out how to put them back in. He feels awful about it. Not only because his wife, Teresa, was the one who had replaced him, but because Capricorn and Basta are horrible characters and Dustfinger is miserable outside of Inkheart.
Elinor is a brave, confident, and strong woman. She has millions of uncommon books. The books are like her children and she loves them with all her heart. Capricorn burns her most precious books, giving her another reason to hate him more.
Teresa, is a beautiful, kind character. Capricorn & his men, and Dustfinger call her, Resa. She is the mother of Meggie and wife of Mo. She doesn't play a big part in the book, since they only find out that she is back in the real world at the end of the story.
Fenoglio is an odd, loving man. He was the writer of Inkheart. He helps Meggie figure out how to send the characters back into their story. He also helped her save the day. In the end of the story he was sent to live in Inkheart. Now Meggie is working on getting him out of the book.
Capricorn is a vicious, evil villan. He has no fear or regrets. Everyone except his men hate him. He was read out of the book by Mo. Capricorn dies at the end of the book.
Basta is a supersticious, bold worker. He works for Capricorn as a soldier of a sort. He was also read out of the book by Mo. Basta is scared of fire. He was failed to go back into the book in the end of the story.
Dustfinger is a fun, oblivious character. He will believe anything to make him happier. He was read out of the book along with Capricorn and Basta by Mo. Dustfinger loves to play with fire. Fire, in a way, is his friend. He didn't get to go back into the book at the end of the story. He has a crush on Teresa.
I love the ending, how Capricorn is killed and Teresa is reunited with Mo and Meggie. I am happy that the rest of the creatures get to live with Teresa, Mo, Meggie, and Elinor. I wanted Farid to stay with Meggie though. I was also hoping that Dustfinger wouldn't be able to take Inkheart back from Mo. I am glad that Meggie gets to keep Tinkerbell.
Did this book meet my high expectations? Yes, it overcame my expectations actually! It was an amazing book. From the moment I read the first words I was hooked.
Would I recommend it and who? Yes, I'd recommend it to people who have a great imagination and love fantasy.

You know a great many things in dreams, often despite the evidence of your eyes. You just know them.
